400G Ultra Ethernet for AI Infrastructure
At the DYNANIC table, Silicom’s ThunderFjord card runs Ultra Ethernet framing and datapath on an Altera Agilex 7 M-series FPGA with two 400GbE ports. Using the ports in loopback, we emulate a connection between two Ultra Ethernet endpoints, such as endpoints in remote compute clusters. We simulate congestion and show its impact on communication in real time.
What we offer together with Altera
DYNANIC builds FPGA-based networking technology on Altera FPGAs, with three years in production at 400G in operator networks. Wire speed at 64 B frames and tens of millions of concurrent flows. We offer:
- Early evaluation of our Ultra Ethernet IP for selected partners, on Silicom ThunderFjord with Altera Agilex 7
- Ultra Ethernet transport IP or an integrated networking subsystem, fitted to your chip
- An endpoint architecture workshop for teams building an XPU, AI NIC, or I/O die – your chip, your constraints
We are also preparing interoperability testing with the Ultra Ethernet Consortium.
